I mean for the dlcs

They have yet to add all the dlc animals so I think I’d be cool if you made starter habitats for them that could mix with animals from other dlcs if there compatible

I don't own any of the DLC in the console version unfortunately. Everything I create for console is base game only. Having the game on both PC and console, the cost would be too much to buy it all again on console.

Not quite a race, but I do have something coming up soon-ish that's more a fun thing than the build stuff. Sorry it's been so long since the races, I've got very side-tracked with building this year

It is interesting seeing what things cause the problems! The more barriers you place, I've definitely noticed the impact.

Some of the console starters need barrier research for the ones using concrete barriers. Appreciate the feedback I've had from this and will be rectifying these to not use these barriers in a future update soon!

Sandbox 'might' have a chance at working. Infinite money, remove majority of guests and turn off all management options so only needs 3 or 4 staff, and reduce number of animals needed in social groups. I'm hoping that's enough when I release as sandbox for the workshop at least!

Yes they are very endangered. I noticed in game their lifespan feels a lot shorter than a lot of other animals in game too

I'm just hoping to see it soon... Barnyard was good for what it was, but it didn't really bring the most exciting of animals to build for... So I'm kind of stuck wanting more

That's true! 4 packs back or so we did have 'every animal' going at the same time. That was the breaking point I think!

Thank you! Once the rest of Eurasia is finished, the barnyard animals are a breeze to make habitats for. Word is that there's at least 1 more pack left after this, so a wait to see what that brings though!

I think it counts them as a whole, in terms of habitat room, so 20 ringtails and 5 black and white would count as 25 for space, but it will count individually for social group. So 20 ringtails would be 20 lemurs in their social group, and 5 black and white would count as 5 for their social group.

For me, I'm honestly not over-critical of the models. The lion is the only one that really stands out. I do have the issue with the snow leopard going 'transparent' when they're moving too! Not sure if that's an issue on console though or just PC.

There's a new starter lemur habitat on the workshop now, just finished off every base game animal for console!

@PlasticSwans Ah, I see. I have all the Steam ones. I would have loved to use the habitats you used for combined species like giraffes and zebras, buffaloes and wildebeests, etc.

This is intentional - some of the first habitats I created for console, I was trialling out where the back of the habitat (where the gate sits) is much higher terrain than where it ends up at the front (guest barrier), to give some depth for the mountainous species. Appreciate not everyone is happy with this, so I'll likely go back and re-do those ones at some point so the gate at the back sits at ground level. For all the console starters, the front guest barrier should sit at ground level, then the back gate might be a lot higher which needs a stair staff path to bring it back down to ground.

@@dazzler86_35 I'm sorry, I made a mistake. This is something I do when I can't put a path down (turn off flatten terrain) and I assumed it was a ground levelling problem and could be fixed the same way with your problem.
